Adult Art Classes
Leanne teaches from absolute beginner artists to more advanced painters looking to refine their painting skills. She generally teaches in oils but can help those who prefer other mediums like acrylics and pastels. Her teaching methods are based on traditional painting but she also encompasses more abstract and contemporary techniques. Limiting the number of students per class, she is able to give each student individual attention. The atmosphere is relaxed, the students are comfortable and enjoy the company of other like-minded creative people. The classes are very popular, and as a result of not being able to accommodate everyone in classes, she runs weekend workshops. Click here to contact Leanne for workshop information. Childrens Art Classes
Leanne has teamed up with professional teacher and artist Linda Griffin to run weekly children’s art classes. Here the children are taught traditional drawing and painting techniques encompassing a wide variety of exciting mediums. The children are exposed to creative and lateral thinking and encouraged to step outside the square. The classes are fun, supportive and encouraging of each child’s individual style.
